Hmm, since I'm not only eligible for an upgrade by time, I'm also have enough belief points for another upgrade.  Since it appears that I'm probably going to have to jump ship for a WP8 phone, I may just have to upgrade to a S3, then upgrade to an S3 again....then just turn around and sell them to offset an 8x at Verizon....think I could get in the $250 range for an S3?

Looking at other carriers as soon as my contract is up. This JB issue on the S3 is making me look elsewhere. Not because they haven't but because of customer service responses to my questions.

Not impressed...better than 200 for S3, but still pretty weak. Maybe I am just expecting too much...but at this point I guess I am still rocking the mesmerize for the foreseeable future (JB has made it much more tolerable).

I just bout the s3 a few days ago. I wonder if USC would give me a $50 credit if I called them up when this sale launches.

My daughter is eligible for an upgrade on friday. I really don't want to spend much money since she's really hard on phones, but will probably pick up the electrify m for her this weekend. It will be nice to have at least one phone in the house that actually gets reception. My wifes and my GS3's are nice phones, I just wish they got better reception.

GS3 isn't a bad price, should have jumped on the Walmart promotion ( buy it @ $150 and get $100 Walmart gift card instantly.)

people doing that is why loyal customers like me pay more ....sigh

ill still stick with us cellular since verizon would cost more each month.  id rather pay $50 more for a phone every two years or wait a lil for lastest tech than an extra $20+ each month.

wp8 seems great but I'll stick with android for now. maybe next phone will be wp8 for me.

I agree that WP8 looks cool, however I (along with 75% of the population) prefer Android because of the flexibility and app selection.  I don't know what happened with USCC's WP8 but am sure there will be a viable option most likely from Samsung in the near future.

I'd also like to add that no other carrier has the S3 mini Axiom and we got the Note 2 a full month before ATT or Verizon. The upgrade fees have allowed USCC to up it's game in getting high end devices at or within weeks of the big boys.

I've been a customer for almost 15 years now, doesn't get much more loyal than that.  However, I would like a top of the line phone for once.  Its easy for someone who has access to a top of the line phone in their preferred OS to talk about waiting and holding out.  It took 9 months for USCC to finally get a WP7 phone and it was just a mid-range quality.  The WP8 phone they were supposed to get was the 8S, another mid-range quality phone.  Now, we are waiting to see what they will get as a replacement....I'll gladly bet you some money that when they get around to getting one, it will be a low to mid-range quality phone.  So, if I want a high end phone I have the choice of using android or switching carriers.

I won't use android because I've tried it and didn't like it.  Too many security holes (a problem with open source) and any OS that I have to mod to do what I want it to isn't worth my time.  I'd rather just get an OS that does what I want it to.  As for Verizon being more expensive, it would cost me $5 and change more per month.

And actually, you're arguement about me raising the cost for 'loyal' customers is moot.  The reason I can do what I was thinking of doing was because of my loyalty.  Why would I throw away what I earned for you or anyone else?

Samsung is already having problems in production of their WP8 phone due to a lack of available screens for them. There has been no mention of an U.S. carrier being offered the phone by Samsung. So, if it is a Samsung device, it will probably be a low to mid-range device and USCC will offer only that one phone for WP8.

As for the availability of apps...95% of the apps available for androids are bs stuff like the "Hot Babe of the Day" app. When it comes down to real, usable apps the divide is much smaller although android does have the advantage.

So, USCC got the Axiom and was the first to get the Note II....big deal. That doesn't affect me because I wouldn't want either one of them. USCC also got the S3 about the same time as the others...but if USCC is carrying a WP8 phone before Mar/Apr timeframe, I'd be suprised.

They are for upgrades as well. I bought the s3 for $150 as an upgrade 10 days ago and just got a $50 credit, as it is now just $100 in this sale.

Sounds like you won't be pleased from what I've heard. If USCC did sink a ton of money into a high end WP8 it wouldn't sell 10% as much as the same spec Android or iPhone. However I understand that USCC is losing customers because of the lack of iphone and WP8. Maybe Windows will catch on in a few years and I hope it does. I like the simplicity of the OS, it just plain works and is fast. Until then who knows, but I feel your pain.

If your are in a 3g market you better get your phones before 12/18 beacuse the prices are going up. The GS 3 are going to $249.99, GS 2 are going to $149.99 and the Note 2 is going up to $399.99 to mention a few. USC is trying to slow down sales in order to manage acquistion costs to to reach their financial goals.

I would not say that 75% of the population "prefer" android.

It is what sbeing pushed, i sell more HTC Wildfires and samsung Repps than GS3s....

why? but those customers complain more often than not and say Android sucks vs Apple, of course, you got an entry level android.... smh

ive walked into plenty of US Cell stores, pretending to be a customer - trying to get a feel about WP7 or WP8...

the associates are just plain ignorant to WP in general, they say its buggy, it crashes a lot, why not get the GS3!!!

This is just plain wrong, i love me some WP8 and after USC leaves certain markets, im getting a Lumia 920....
