  3. My contract ends in a month. I had to deal with their terrible customer service regarding my order that still hasnt shipped 12 days later, took 2 hours to get to talk to someone who could help me. I'm glad to leave uscc behind.
  4. You can pickup a used 2012 with simcard slot on cowboom for around $60. I think they have 2013s for under $100 but stock comes and goes. Make sure you check the condition in the description
  5. What's currently not working?
  6. Could the sound hack damage your device? I def want to try it but don't want to do anything risky
  7. Are you 100% sure its not service related? A friend has this issue but his signal at home is very bad. He would make a call, notice he can't be heard, call back and then he can be heard.
  8. Quite a few people have hinted that I was doing something wrong with flash2 and I would like to note there's a ton of people in the original flash2 method thread on xda that can't get it to work, with the correct file names and file placement. The creator of the method said the script doesn't work on all devices and on most phones that have lollipop. I wish I new this sooner instead of pulling my hair out for days trying to figure out how to get it to work I ended up flashing the system/modem/boot,imgs this way: Boot into cwm Use the following commands to flash those files via adb shell from computer command window. adb shell dd if=/sdcard/flash2/system.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/system dd if=/sdcard/flash2/modem.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/modem dd if=/sdcard/flash2/boot.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/boot reboot Now I am back to the stock room. can you post a link? http://www.mediafire.com/?g31hbcdmh14io89 The link was in the LG Flash Tool guide in Rub's root guide. Make sure you're reading everything at least once BEFORE you go about doing it; just a good standard practice whenever you're doing root/mod stuff in Android. Along with nandroid backups, but I think you've learned that one the hard way Thanks for your help. It was the same driver I had installed. I tried this guide a few times, got stuck at 3% with the flash tool. I also have some experience with roms and what not and I wasn't lazy about using these guides. I had no problems doing anything on any other device including my verizon g3, nexus 5, lg g2, evo. Only phone I ever had problems with was this g3 and a lg g2x(turned out all these phones weren't made equal). Either way, it's sorted. And, I got this phone with these issues from another user on xda that couldn't fix it, originally owner didn't do a nandroid backup.

  10. can you post a link?
  11. LG flash tool gets stuck at 2% then fails.
  12. Ah, yeah, crappy internet + uploading huge files = disaster lol I tried one guide for making a bootable rom from kdz and was unsuccessful. It was also an older guide. Im going to look around xda and see if I can find a new guide tonight.
  13. Your assumption is correct and yes, I can get into TWRP and the phone is working fine. Just stuck on CM12.
  14. Did you get what you needed? I've got the flash 2 files or a complete stock unrooted kdz No I didn't. If you could share, I would really appreciate it!
