  1. I had a similar situation turned out they bumped me to tech support he was able to see that two devices that with the same number was pinging off the same tower. He did his thing and I rebooted to a working devices. The phone I was using though was a Nexus 6.
  2. Nexus 6P All Things Root and Guides

Wugfresh has updated his Nexus Root Toolkit to include the Nexus 6P. http://www.wugfresh.com/nrt/
  3. data roaming deal

So will all of this include VoLTE roaming service as well when USC moves past trials?
  4. Anyone else vape?

I work as a Substance Abuse counselor and what is known is that regular cigarette smoke (as well as cannabis) not only has the well known toxins but also causes damage because of the smokes inhaled temperature which can reach as high as 700 degrees F. Because of the damage it causes I actually recommend Vaping as a form of Harm Reduction.
  5. My last Samsung was a S5 then I got a Nexus 6 which my wife got when I got purchased 6P both I got unlocked. I have heard that the Note 5 is actually better about having less "bloatware" added. That Touchwiz is closer to stock. I have also been told that it has one of the best camera's on the market. The camera on the 6P is great but for more serious photo times I use a Samsung Galaxy Camera. (Also no offence meant about Samsung.) For those who have not seen the difference I thought I would give a link that compares the Android skins on a few of the major brands: http://www.phonearena.com/news/Stock-Lollipop-vs-Samsung-TouchWiz-vs-HTC-Sense-vs-LG-UI-Interface-comparison_id66301
  6. So it's simple. If you where going to put any unlocked phone on US Cellular what would it be?
  7. I used to be a big fan of Samsung then I tried the Nexus 6 with it's more pure operating system. So I have to say it would be the Nexus 6. With that said I have to say that my favorite phone (Which I am using on US Cellular now is the Nexus 6P.
  8. Is this official?

Just wanted to add that I finally got my Nexus 6P today and was able to activate it very easily. I was prepared before I called with IMEI number as well as the sim number written down and the sim card already in place. I was prepared to tell the lady who answered the it was a Nexus 5X but she never asked. She took my info spoke up and said "Oh you have the new Nexus." I politely said yes and we were done in under 10 with everything working well. I incredibly happy with this device. Thanks everyone for your advise previously mentioned in this topic!
  9. Free Nexus 6P Giveaways

I would like to put my name in the pot for anything that you have available. My wife has ordered me a 6P for my Christmas. It's not often I get a new top of the line device when it first comes out. She is rewarding me for finally becoming a substance abuse counselor! Anyways, any extra that you may have please keep me in mind. Thank you in advance, Chris
  10. MRA58K Released For Nexus 6!

If you're rooted, install Layers manager from playstore and then look for layers to apply. You have all sorts of choices to apply to give you the theme you like. Pure awesomicity if that is a word.....LOL Yes I could do that but I am still interested in what the guy did to utilize the factory softwares dark theme.
  11. Is this official?

Android Police have confirmed that they will work on US Cellular the link to the original page is below and I also pasted the important part. http://www.androidpolice.com/2015/09/29/the-nexus-5x-and-nexus-6p-are-compatible-with-project-fi-and-all-major-us-carriers/ Nexus 6P GSM/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900MHzUMTS/WCDMA: B1/2/4/5/8CDMA: BC0/1/10LTE (FDD): B2/3/4/5/7/12/13/17/25/26/29/30Nexus 5X GSM/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900MHzUMTS/WCDMA: B1/2/4/5/8CDMA: BC0/1/10LTE (FDD): B1/2/3/4/5/7/12/13/17/20/25/26/29Those bands cover AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and US Cellular, both 3G and LTE, so an unlocked phone from the Google Store will work on all of them with a compatible nano-SIM card. More exotic services like Republic Wireless are not included. International models of the 5X and 6P may vary slightly, but since the odd CDMA/GSM split in the US isn't present in most of the rest of the world, it's not a huge issue. Treat the new Nexus phones like any unlocked GSM-LTE device.
  12. I think it looks like the old stills making moonshine that were hidden way out in the woods of the Virginia Blue Ridge mountains during prohibition. Here in NC you can still buy illegal Moonshine in certain rural counties. Growing up my parents used it and honey to make a damn good cough syrup. At least I believe it did but I usually fell asleep after a small amount.
  13. I have to main hobbies one is building PC's the last of which was a home theater PC. That leads me to my second. I have spent some time collecting my home theater parts it includes Polk Audio speakers, a very nice 1200 watt 7.2 surround sound receiver, satellite , blu-ray, Nexus Player, and of course the home theater PC plays high end video games through Steam that has been integrated into Kodi home theater software. Please forgive the wires. I am working on getting the wallplates for the speaker wires and one RCA jack for the front sub. I have a concessions stand with a hot dog cooker and popcorn popper. I hope to soon get a mini fridge/freezer and microwave. I use the Hue lighting system in my house and the Harmony Home Control remote system that uses simple handheld remotes and then apps on Android or Apple devices. As of now I have an old Nexus 7 (2013) tablet that I use as a big remote with all the apps that I can use for my HTPC. Below I added a link for some photos and videos of the home theater. Sorry for the length guys! https://goo.gl/photos/8zAdsvEPrysf9Q889
  14. LG Nexus 5x and 6p HYPE THREAD

You can finance through Huawei's site, but I believe there is a 12 month 10% APR, so it's not as good as the finance options through Fi (which is 24 month 0% APR). Also, they only have the aluminum and graphite colors.http://www.gethuawei.com/nexus6p You won't have to pay taxes, so that will save you some money though... True. I wouldn't mind the 24month option. ~$30 a month.Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk Yeah, but when you figure that you can probably sell your Nexus 6 for at least $250 (or $300 if you have the 64 gb) then you're left with only paying ~$250...which is what we paid for the Nexus 6 when it was subsidized through USCC to begin with. That's how I'm justifying it to myself anyway...haha That's true I suppose. Though I don't know if I want to sell mine yet. I may keep it as a backup.Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk Now you can finance it with nothing down on the Google Fi Project site. They are now handing out invites there, You the do have to sign up for Fi but can cancel after the first month at least that is what a Google employee said. It was said you can continue using the cell phone and making the payments. I like the 64GB model which is around $24 or something like that.
