  1. The original pixel could be unlocked with the original firmware (7.0.1 I believe) prior to activation on Verizon's Network. After you insert the SIM card it automatically disabled the OEM unlock option permanently and you could not be unlocked after. Updating to 7.1 disabled it also. No workaround known currently. 2. All Verizon sold pixels, 1&2 have locked boot loaders that cannot be unlocked. The Google store variants come with locked bootloader but can be unlocked. The apps are indeed installed when activated on verizon and can be uninstalled. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  3. Pixel 2?

Original XLS are all that's left for new and only $100 off Pixel 2 has a better camera and also begins with 64gb instead of 32. Also has a better processor and Bluetooth 5.0. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  4. Anyone going for it? I am reluctant to pull the trigger... It's a big investment and I don't know how well it will do in the boonies... Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  5. OnePlus 5?

  6. OnePlus 5?

It may work,. You probably would have to lie and say it's a Nexus device and do it over the phone, not in store of course... Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  7. OnePlus 5?

They won't allow it. It doesn't support CDMA,. So no voice... Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

  13. VOLTE IS HERE!

They do... But only for iPhone and I think S7 users... Sprint has HD voice also... Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  14. VOLTE IS HERE!

Volte is not HD voice. Hd voice is a high bitrate codec and requires both parties be compatible to work. Hd voice requires volte capability. Standard volte sounds just like any other call but is routed via LTE enabling you to also use data simultaneously. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  15. video calling and texting voice recordings

Google duo does video calls. It works but both parties have to be registered for it to work. Verizon's video calls do use data. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
