  1. Enhanced LTE

Bump Had an s5 forever and finally broke it. Got an s8+ and was talking to my wife; trying to help her navigate around a wreck and I had no internet. Hung up, 4g full signal. Very annoying. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  2. Did as you said still didn't work so. Thanks for your help. As for that thread, I read back through it. And I see what you mean by and answer, but I have continued looking because I cannot be the only person running that ROM on us cell s5. So I figured someone would chime in with a fix Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk Edit, flashed TN ROM. No longer need help. Thanks for your time.
  3. I did not, what should they be set to Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk
  4. Continuing to struggle with lte/3g issue. But making progress. Flashed stock us cell bog2 ROM *228.... Success About phone=baseband "boc1" ...**** Root Root file explorer System/etc/apns-conf.XML copied 2 sd Flash cm12.1 20150428 Root Root file explorer *228.... Success. Lte, but no 3g Signal bars with exclamation point Root file explorer, copy apns-conf.XML .... Over write=yes.... Success Reboot *228.... Success Lte but no 3g (bars!) So I pulled down notification bar, long pressed mobile networks. Went to apns. Only one was left and it was lte. I opened that APN config and chose the 3 dots and chose delete APN. Poof 3g comes up and is working, but now no LTE. Wtf? Simply unchecking the lte APN box doesn't work. So why won't it change back in fourth automatically as I move in and out of coverage? 5. Multiple flashes no success. I'm not overly concerned with the modem unless that's my 3g problem Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk
  6. I backed up the APN file from the stock ROM, then flashed cm12.1 enabled root and used root explorer to copy the file to it's original location over writing the cm file. Still no 3g. Just signal icon with exclamation point. Looked at apns though settings area, deleted all duplicates. Rebooted etc, and even dialed *228 and still can't figure it out. In sorry for being a noob here Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk
  7. OK I went to system/etc and copied the file, I'll flash the rom tonight and report back tomorrow. ThanksSent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk Edit: any reason I'm stuck on boc1 baseband? Odin flashed bog2 with no errors, all threads completeSent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk
  8. OK I went to system/etc and copied the file, I'll flash the rom tonight and report back tomorrow. ThanksSent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk
  9. Running build 04282015 with a boc1 baseband, can't get it to go to bog2. Problem I'm having with this rom is I only have lte data, no 3g. This is bad for me because I live in an area with poor lte coverage. I've tried switching apns around and deleting all but one and nothing has worked so far. Anyone else having this problem? I flashed back to stock rom at the moment so I can use my phone at work. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk
  10. Lollipop

I apologize I have missed it somehow. I have already tripped Knox so. I'm running BOC1. I'll search again. EDIT: so I looked back to op and saw the rom and root link, but it has coming soon in yellow text above ROOT so I assumed we were still waiting.
  11. Lollipop

    Any word on root?
  12. Lollipop

    Thank you
  13. Lollipop

I flashed lollipop last night using odin. Everything went trouble free. However when looking at about phone my baseband is still nk1 and not boc1 as it is supposed to be. Should I just reflash and see if that fixes it?
  14. GPS Problem

Flashed to lollipop and it fixed the GPS problem. Not sure what the issue was.
  15. GPS Problem

@cPfeifer - unfortunately that didn't work @ahent - installed TOPNTP, configured and it did not fix the issue either. @BoгИX - went into location settings and set gps only, opened Google maps and it forces the change back to high accuracy. Issue is still not resolved. I plan on flashing to lollipop soon so I'll report back if that fixes it.
