    Planning on going on vacation next weekend to an area that USCC roams on Verizon. SO to have data while traveling I got a few StraightTalk sims one for my old XT1575 (no current service and replaced by an S8+ on USCC) and one for the COE XT1575 that's currently active on USCC. I have activated the sims for StraightTalk for each device. The plan is to use my old XT1575 as GPS/Data while traveling and for the COE line to have data plug the StraightTalk sim in and use it for just the trip. I know with the Stretch Data plan I should have call forwarding, what I want to do is forward the COE XT1575 to the new StraightTalk line immediately so that if COE line is called we will not miss the call. I found instructions on USCC's website on how to start said service but I want to know will I incur any charges because at the bottom it mentions something about roaming (All Call Forwarded Calls are billed at the Outgoing Minutes Rate (not Incoming Rate). If Call Forwarding is used while the cell phone is roaming, the outbound call will be charged at the roaming rate (plus any applicable long distance charges). The sim for the COE XT1575 will be with us but will not be in the phone so do I need to worry about charges? The USCC will not be returned to the COE phone until we return. Any advice?

    So those of us that switched back to the stretch plans how much are they charging for the line access? I got my bill today and with the prorated charges I couldn't tell what the line access charges are. The guy I chatted with got it fixed and even saw that I didn't get the discount last month and fixed that as well.

  13. New Shared Connect Plans

    Noticed today that there are some new Shared Connect Plans available. Chatted and found out that if you have a COE discount that will be forfeited by switching to the new plans. I'm going to have to do some thinking/math to see if the new plans are worth it.

    When I chatted nothing was said about a new 2yr agreement. I think I'll just stick with the 15GB and the current discounts I get and no new agreement.

    COE = Customer Owned Equipment I currently get $30 dollars knocked off of the per line access fee of $40 dollars right now, switching to the new plans you lose that discount and it goes to $20 per line...
  16. Account reset

    When I was with PagePlus if something happened to my data etc you could call in and have it reset. Can this be done with USCC? Both I and my mother have Moto X Pures but here's has issues picking up signal at home only. And when she calls out its always garbled and unintelligible, but I can stand in the same spot with mine and it's clear as day. This also happened with her Moto G 3rd Gen so I'm inclined to think it's on the account not the phone. Oh we ported in from PagePlus at the end of August last year if that has anything to do with it.   22. Shared data pricing lowered

    Got our bill for last month today. On the first day of the plan changes we switched over from the 8 gig to the 12 gig. At that time the rep told me that the two lines we have would go from 10 to 15 each. On the bill they did not change and stayed the original 10 with a 30 dollar discount. I'm not complaining but when I swapped the rep and I specifically discussed the per line increase. Oh well, I got 4 extra gigs for the same price as 8, I'm happy with that error.     Is it normal to not have access to usage when a plan change occurs mid cycle? I had access to it for a bit after the plan change but now I get "We're sorry but we cannot retrieve the information you requested.” I've read horror stories about the OLAM but usage shouldn't be an issue.     So are you saying you have two lines? It would cost the same as you were paying before if you switched to 10GB. Correct, four gigs more than the old plan was a steal for us. As USCC is our only "high speed" option, outside of satellite internet or poor Verizon coverage, so the 10 bucks more is worth it to me.Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
