  1. Next phone?

Well I could care less about the iPhone. Overrated. Just don't like the os that much. I can see why some do, it is simple and intuitive. It does what it does very well. I like the freedom to change that my (locked up even ) electrify gives me. I'm really hoping the googarola x-phone lives up to the speculated hype and that uscc picks it up. If it is true that Motorola is really only working on the DROID line for Verizon and this phone, I think there is a good chance they will. Not holding my breath on either account however. The gs4 is probably in my future. Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2
  2. Next phone?

Which is fine with me. I want too see how the X-Phone specs out and if uscc will pick it up anyway. Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2
  3. Next phone?

Probably not that early in the US. Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2
  4. Next phone?

Unless they pick up the Moto X-phone (and it meets the hype), looks like an S4 for me this summer. Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2
  5. Next phone?

I might be in for an 8x. I think I'd actually prefer that to a Nokia, definitely over an Ativ Oddesy. Even if they announced it tomorrow, I think I'd still wait to see what Samsung and Motorola have up their sleeves for later this year. Still nothing wrong with my E1 to be honest. Not thinking we'd get this rumored HTC M7, but it sounds interesting as well. Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2
  6. Next phone?

If they do get a W8P anytime soon, it will probably be a redressed ATIV Oddesy. I'll pass if that is the case. My plan right now is to wait until Samsung and Motorola make announcements on their next wave of flagship phones and see what USCC will pick up this spring/summer. Maybe they will surprise me, but my guess is there is a Galaxy S4 sometime in my future. Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2
  7. Next phone?

I think I would really like W8P. I have really started to embrace the simple is better thinking, and I think the live tiles are pretty cool. We use exchange server at work and my Outlook calender pretty much runs my life. Just seems like W8P makes sense for me. I've been pretty happy with android, it does what I need pretty well. My thing is that when I upgrade, I want a high end device. If Samsung announced a Galaxy S4 and a W8P variant along side it, and USSC picked them both up, I'd probably grab the W8P. Not going to hold my breath, especially since we still haven't seen the Ativ or any other W8P, high end, mid-level or otherwise yet. Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2
  8. Next phone?

Let me rephrase this then. What do you think are the chances of USCC picking up the Motorola X-Phone? Indications are that Motorola will continue the Droid lines, exclusive to Verizon (a CDMA carrier), plus release this rumored device for any carrier that wishes to pick it up. Rumors indicate that this device will be very Nexus-like in that it will be the first Motorola device that they exert any real influence over, and may be the first device to run key lime pie. Other than that, all that it's really known, it's that they have said it will be very durable and they want a long battery life. Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2
  9. Next phone?

The X-Phone won't necessarily be a Nexus. What I've read so far indicates it will still have a Motorola overlay, though it will be minimal, and it will be very Nexus-like. No idea what they plan to do with the bootloader. I really hope the M isn't the last Motorola device we see at USCC. Sounds like this thing will be very durable, have great battery life, and might be the first device with key lime pie. If the chatter it's too be believed at least. Guess we'll find out in the next few months. Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2
  10. Next phone?

So basically you are saying no more Motorola on USCC. I hope that isn't so. Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2
  11. Next phone?

Any chance we'll see this rumored Google "X Phone". I'm eligible for upgrade in March, and was thinking a GS4 would probably be in my future, but I'd wait until fall for this thing (possibly) if I thought there was a chance USCC would pick it up. Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2
  12. Black Friday 2012

One V, Splendor, Defy XT all free. E2 and S2 $30. S3 $99 all online only. Or BOGO on M, E2, and S2 in stores. How does BOGO work? Do both lines have to be eligible for an upgrade? My wife is eligible right now and wants an M. I'm not eligible for 4 more months. Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2 Both must be eligible Swyped while swerving from my Samsung GS3 Well, that sucks. That blows my idea of upgrading my wife's phone and replacing my E2. I figured if you got one free, you could put it on any line. Sent from my XT881 using Tapatalk 2 I feel you, that is what I was thinking too. Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2

  14. Price

Thanks guys! Looks like a short road trip when I'm ready. Think I'll wait and see what the holiday specials are really going to be before I do anything though. Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2
  15. Price

Does the price depends on where you purchase the phone, or on your billing address? The website lists this as $150 after rebate in my hometown store. However, a store 30 minutes away is in a 4g market area, and it lists the price there as $99 after rebate. Can I make a 30 minute drive, and upgrade a phone and save $50? Better question, can I do this to get in on the unlimited data plan promotion I'm hearing about? Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2
