  1. iRub, I certainly will not be shy discussing this w uscc. Thankfully I have been watching data usage on my account and it does not seem to be showing. This happened on Sunday, so hoping it was just a quirky thing. I will say my battery life has been 100× better since disabling. Chuck, thanks for the info on the app. I had updated to Marshmallow the day I received the phone and for rid of all the extra carp(like 4 games) that came w the os update. Overall I do like the phone, but miss the Nexus clean android. The notification shade is the most frustrating thing on the lg skin. Sent from my LGUS991 using Tapatalk
  2. Yeah. I did disable and restrict background data. So far all internet components work. Mms, text etc. All seem to be fine. I can get on chrome, email, fb etc. We will see what happens over the next day or so. Going to have to discuss a uscc to see how to handle. 1\2 my data allotment was used up in 4 hrs 😡 Sent from my LGUS991 using Tapatalk
  3. I should also add, battery life is terrible. I pulled off the charger when the reset was done. According to the battery status, I have been off the cord for. 3 he 49 min. Sitting at 22%. Terrible Sent from my LGUS991 using Tapatalk
  4. Hi all, I purchased an lg g4 on tuesday. Today I did a factory reset as I received the marshmallow update out of the box, but did not reset at the time. I did the factory reset via WiFi at home. This was approx 10 o'clock am. I am at a birthday party and get a data usage warning of 2gb. I looked and this mobile services manager has used almost 3 gb of data today! Any idea what this is and how it is using this much data? I am posting a screenshot, and as you can see it is by far the most used data. I will be calling uscc, as we have the shared 6gb plan and my guess is this will put us over. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Sent from my LGUS991 using Tapatalk
  5. Hi all, I recently had my N6 take a tumble of about 5 ft, and crushed the screen [emoji20]. I am not eligible for an upgrade, and really not in the spot to spend 4-500 for a new Nexus or Moto X pure. I noticed USCC has reduced the msrp to $240, so I should be able to buy outright. With it being around a yr old, should it stand the test of time for the next 18 months or so? Looks like it just received Marshmallow, which is nice. My guess is there won't be any additional updates. Also, reading on other forums, there are many having a random loop screen flaw. Does USCC variants have this flaw? Thanks for any input you guys may have. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  6. Hi all-- Hoping an employee or two can give an insight on the current situation with the Moto G. I've called all stores within a 50 mile radius of my area as well as CS looking for a Moto G. My mother needs an upgrade from her Moto M. Anyway, no phones to be found and all on back stock. What's going on?! Associates are trying to get her into the Samsung Grand Prime, and can't give a timeframe to have any in stock. I'd much rather her have Moto since she is used to it and lives on a fringe area for reception. Anyone have an idea when we can expect more units in? Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  7. Update...I went to my local corporate store and was told there was an hour and a half wait. Decided to go to an agent store in the next town over and walked in to a great representative. He went over my options and let me know that I could subsidize this phone(I had read they would let you do it the first time as a cs offering somewhere). The device financing on shared connect would still end up 20 more per month so paid the 99 and kept my plan. Very happy so far. Excited for the N6! Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  8. Ace, do you know if the transaction went through and then they cancelled it? If the site is putting it through uscc should honor it. Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  9. I should have mentioned that I was logged in and hit the "upgrade device" from my account page. When I tried to click device financing it showed my account was not eligible for financing. Not sure what was up. Going to a store today to see what I can do. Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  10. I have read a lot about not being able to pay subsidized pricing for phones if we are still on the old belief plans. Tonight I was on uscc.com and noticed the N6 for $99. The website let me go all the way through to the review/ confirm page with staying on the old plan and pay 99 for the phone. I did not hit complete since I did not want any headaches with a cancelled order or such. Has USCC reconsidered pulling people off the old belief plans and not forcing installment pricing? I took screenshots on my PC and may hit the submit button and expect a fight with cs should anything come up with the order. Any thoughts? Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks! So I should be able to buy at bb and activate no problem, correct? Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  12. I am 99% sure i know the answer, but Would buying an unlocked version from best buy be able to activated on uscc? I know that from play store and Motorola the phone will work, so I assume unlocked from best buy would. The description on bestbuy.com States that it is gsm unlocked and works w att and tmobile only. 13. Hi all, As we know, Motorola, Google play, etc. Has dropped the N6 pricing to 499 for the 32 gig. Will USCC match the pricing/ financing for the phone? I can get 0% for 18 months at 27ish a month. Currently the website shows $33 for 20 months($660). I'd like the convenience of not opening another line of credit but if it saves almost $200, I can rationalize ordering through Motorola. Thanks Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
  14. Anyone have any more news on soak?
  15. Last year the promos leading up to Christmas were better than black Friday. Does anyone "in the know" have any insight to promos coming up in the next 2 weeks for Christmas sales?
