  1. I redid the apn settings on nougat before enrolling back into the beta. I copied them from another working phone. LTE was working on nougat then I did the upgrade and so far all is working just fine now. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  2. DP3 just released today. I leave for vacation tomorrow so I'm not going to try it till I get back. hilgerone, if you try it and the lte works let me know and i'll jump in.
  3. I loaded the beta the day it came out and I had the same issue. 3g worked just fine as did phone/sms, but 4g would not connect at all. As soon as I reverted back to stock all started again. I tried searching but found nothing. I'm assuming it's a USC thing and will be fixed on the next beta update. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  4. I don't get mine till tomorrow. Just curious. My 6and 6p both always showed roaming indicator off. Is your pixel showing that? Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  5. Download the eri file. Navigate to eri.zip>meta-inf>com>google>android...Open the updater-script file with notepad. Remove the line that references the Nexus 6.
  6. Wow it really was that simple. Took the check out and all is working. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  7. Well new phone same issue. The status bar on lock screen and drop down notification drawer states roaming Indicator off just like the nexus 6 did until the eri.XML fix. Anyone know if it would be easy to adapt the old one to work. I can't see how it could be that different. I just don't know enough to do it. The other checks to make sure that it's a shamu device whereas this is angler. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk Admin Edit: Here is the eri.zip that fixes this issue for the Nexus 6P Flash it in a custom recovery and all done! http://upload.teamuscellular.com/47z
  8. Glad I could be the test subject. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  9. I used my old sim from the n6. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  10. I had to tell them 5X. They don't have the 6P device ID for their system. They had me on hold for 15 min so they could add my imei number to their system. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks guys for the idea...just called them back. They activated under the 5X and all is working. Phone/SMS/LTE all good!
  12. Well it was fun while it lasted...LTE still works but phone/sms are now gone. I am going to try to take up to a store tomorrow and see what happens.
  13. everything is working fine. Im working on unlocking and rooting...have to get rid of ads.
  14. If it stops working for whatever reason and I have to call back...I'll try the 5X thing.
  15. Sooooo....not exactly sure how to explain this one. I called to switch from my Nexus 6 to the 6P. Before calling I swapped the SIM to the new phone. 3G was working before calling. Called Rep and she asked for all the info. The SIM stayed the same of course and she took the new IMEI. Took a few minutes and said she need to put me on hold to ask her manager what to use for the device ID (she of course has not seen this device before). I was on hold for 5 minutes and she came back and told me that the 6P could not be activated on USC and that they made an exception for the 5X to work. I asked to speak to the manager because there is nothing technically stopping the phone from working. She stated that is who she just got done talking to. I asked if she had switched the phones back and she said yes and I hung up. Within 30 seconds of hanging up LTE kicked on on the 6P. I rebooted and all is still working. I tried *228 and it says that I need to call USC but I believe that is because their system is just not recognizing my model. I'm going to let it ride and see what happens. If enough people over the next week or so calling and trying to activate...I think they would "officially" support it. It doesn't make any sense not to.
