  1. [ODIN] STOCK TAR FILES

There is another 6.0.1 build available for us in case anyone is interested. The first 6.0.1 build(PD2) gave me problems with my screen rotation, but the latest one(PF2) seems to work just fine. Other than that I didn't really notice any other changes. http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G900R4/
  2. When I tried the aroma installer with the latest version of TWRP, I couldn't get it to launch.
  3. I installed the latest build yesterday. It works ok overall. The two issues I've encountered so far are choppy bluetooth audio and occasional random reboots.
  4. It appears as though all of the above suggestions haven't worked for me. I was able to hold onto a signal for a couple minutes this time before everything dropped out. I suppose I'll just have to stick to 4.4.2 for the time being.
  5. Has anyone else tried to flash the newest stock tar BOC? Tried a couple of different times, and both times my data connection kept dropping in and out. Was it because I used ODIN 3.09 instead of 3.10? Any input would be nice before I try another flash.
  6. Just curious - has anyone had trouble with Netflix after they flashed this? I'd like to use it, but whenever I flash, Netflix all of a sudden can't connect to the service.
  7. [Support] AOSB

Nope just installed the micro gapps. Didn't bother doing any more installs after a couple sms tests. I'll have to play around with it later tonight
  8. [Support] AOSB

OK so I used twrp 2.7.1.0 to flash the ROM along with the micro gapps. All flashed fine. Working: 4g/3g Wifi Camera Dialer SMS Not Tested: IR NFC Bluetooth
  9. sgs3 easy ums 1.8

I did have problems with my external sd card and leankernel. I wasn't paying too much attention to all the details, but I think it started in 1.6 or 1.7. It would corrupt my 32gb sd and I'd have to reformat. After it happened 3 or 4 times I just went back to the stock kernel and I haven't had any problems since.
  10. 1.8 gave me problems with my 32gb ext. sdcard. Played with it a little to see if I could make it work - eventually flashed back to 1.7 and everything is running fine now.
  11. So I figured out my problem. Apparently it didn't like that I was installing it from my external sdcard. Once I transferred it over to my internal sd it installed just fine. Not sure why might do some investigating.
  12. Seem to be having a problem installing 1.07. Keeps on giving me an error when flashing. The boot.img is where it where the error pops up then I have to do a restore. Tried both the with and without acid versions. Same result - any ideas?
  13. No Radio help!

Something really easy that could be done. Just dial *228. Your phone may have deprogrammed from the network and that fixes it quite easily.
  14. Soft Brick - need some help

Yeah the GS3 toolkit should help you Odin back to stock. Then you could also use it to re-root and start from scratch. DO THIS --> Odin is in the folder where you installed the toolkit. Put your phone in download mode. Once you get the stock image.md5 open it into the PDA part of Odin. Click start and it should re-image your phone. The toolkit assumes that you are starting from inside your rom and wants to reboot it into download mode. Under normal conditions this just makes it easier for the user, but since you can't you just have to do the odin part manually. Not too scary after you've done it a couple times.
  15. Corrupt SD memory

Go into your settings and select battery. It'll give you a general idea of what's eating up most of your battery. I myself keep my power saver on almost all the time, and for the most part it doesn't affect general phone usage.
