  1. Unlimited on US Celluar

Wow. Did not expect it to be that bad. That is unacceptable as far as I'm concerned.
  2. Unlimited on US Celluar

I would assume that the HD plan would run just like the old shared connect plans until you reach the 22gb.
  3. Unlimited on US Celluar

Yeah I did hear that as well.

I truly don't think this is a screw up. Not totally anyways. I was looking at the plans on AT&T and there is a lot of similarities. You know how the providers like to copy each other while trying to stay competitive. I'll provide a screen shot on what I'm talking about. On the unlimited choice plan you'll notice that it says max speed 3 Mbps and video streaming at 1.5 Mbps. So I'd say this is what us cellular was going for in there not so clear SD plan. So maybe that's what could be screwed up, it should be 3 Mbps during normal data usage but everything got bundled in the 1.5 speed. Or there being pricks and want it that slow. They also got a unlimited plus plan that works at normal speed 4g. Similar to what USCC HD plan that nobody can seem to find on their website. I guess what I'm getting at is if US Cellular would have been more clear like AT&T has on there site, I wouldn't have anything to betch about.

I know this isn't device specific. I was using my LG V20 and speeds were slow. I had to send in that phone for repair and I'm on my old note 2 right now with similar results. Plus from my shared screen shots you can clearly see the difference between plans. They don't say specifically video streaming on the fine print. Just says streaming. So I'm guessing there definition on streaming is different than ours.

Yup. Unlimited plan is a joke. If something sounds to good to be true, it usually is. Just switched to the 6gb total plan. More than I need usually anyways plus I'll save another 10 bucks. Speeds are back to normal.

It was my understanding that the SD/HD speeds were only suppose to apply to video streaming, not slow the data speeds for everything. Streaming sites like YouTube would have to be opted in to stream at the lower rates. I don't know. It just seems like I got lied to and us cellular is not as forthright as the claim to be. And if you have to pay extra for the HD then I would count that as a hidden fee since I don't see that advertised anywhere. Which is part of there big campaign right now "no hidden fees".

So just wondering how everyone else's speeds are going since unlimited had a chance to set in. Gotta say my speed is garbage right now. So about middle of march I called and switched to the unlimited plan. All was good with speeds (30-40Mbps) and all other functions of my phone. April 14th rolls along and my speed takes a dump to .12Mbps. I called and they said I was on 2gb plan and was maxed out. Explained I signed up for unlimited. Not sure how that happened but he switched me to unlimited like I was supposed to be on. Ever since that point I've been averaging 1.5Mbps. Been on the phone with customer service several times but no one can figure it out and they keep telling me they'll call me back and never do. I even tried 2 different phones and same result. Now only today the tech I talked to said the speeds for unlimited total plans should be around 1.5Mbps. So I called him and his company a joke and hung up. Sorry was mad. I'll try to attach speed test image if I figure it out. I don't know what the speed should really be but is 1.5Mbps even 3g speeds. This truly doesn't seem right. I mean I'm still able to browse but it is slower and when downloading something it is noticeably slow. If anyone had any feedback on this is surely love to hear it. Thanks, Travis
  9. Ok, so I finally got around to installing this new version. Most things went well except it took me a while to find the tar file to use in odin, couldn't find it posted anywhere around the forum. Anyways I'll get to my point of writing this. When I go to swipe the screen with my hand to get a screen shot it gives me a message saying "unfortunately screen capture has stopped working". It actually takes the snap shot but it displays that message every time. Also when using the S-Pen and using the screen write it says something similar. That actually doesn't work at all. Just wondering if this is a known problem or if anyone else has experienced this. Just to give more detail I followed instructions when installing this very well. Factory reset 3 times, Wiped all the data in advanced wipe except my external SdCard. I did wipe the internal SdCard just to make sure I had the cleanest install. Also this phone is still fresh while I'm writing this. The only thing I did was the initial set up and I installed 1 app. That app being GOOD LOCK. Not sure if this app can cause these problems. Nothing else installed. Thanks for your time, Travis
  10. Thanks for the replies. I was playing around with the synapse App and enabled fast charging in there. Seems to have made my problems go away. So I'll not worry about reflashing anything right now. I'll mess around with custom settings when I get new batteries. Also, thanks for the suggestions on the batteries. I've had good luck with Anker batteries on the note 2 so I'll probably go that route. 2 batteries and a charger for $24. So I'll just swap back and forth when dead. Charging doesn't get much faster than that. The joys of being able to change batteries. By the looks of it, this may be the last phone/note that will have that option.
  11. Hello everybody. So I just rooted my phone last night. I waited a about a year to do so cause I actually enjoyed the note 4 stock for awhile. But it's gotten laggy and battery life has horrid lately so I figured it was time for a reset anyways. After rooting it all went fine. So then I flash v2 of this, then let it boot up. Then I flashed v3 of this rom and let that boot up again. I then flashed the r17 emotion kernel and all was fine. Everything seemed fine. I was istalling some apps and was able to restore some with titanium back-up. Also xposed seemed to install ok. Didn't really get time to play around with that much yet. So after messing around with my phone all morning it drained down to 8% and shut off without any warning. Well I did get the 15% warning, but that was it. Tried starting it a couple times and it was in fact dead battery. So what my real problem is, is that it is charging horribly slow. I tried charging it with it off til it got to 73% and I needed to text a few people so I turned it on. I checked if the fast charging was enabled and it was. I unplugged it and replugged it back in and still slow. It's been nearly 4.5 hours and just got to 90%. Now my battery was shutting down at weird times before this which is 75% the reason why I wanted to try this. It was charging perfectly fine before this though. I mean perhaps it could be a bad battery? Been wanting to by a new set of batteries anyways. So I was wondering if anyone else experienced this. Didn't see any mention of fast charging not working in this ROM. It almost seems slower than using a regular charger. Also wanted to point out there is no icon saying fast charger is connected. Also in notification drawer it says "use fast charging" as if I need to turn it on. And while plugged in I go to the page where you turn it on and it's grayed out. But when it's not plugged in I can turn it on and off. And yes I tried 2 usb cables. Only had one brick to try. So to give more info on my phone so maybe it's something I did in installation. I was on the latest OTA update which I believe was N910R4USC1BOG2. Was I suppose to Odin back to N910R4USC1BOC4 ? Is it even possible to Odin back to older versions. So looking in the about device seciton my baseband version says N910R4TYU1BOG2 and the build number says LRX22C.N910R4TYU1BOC4 . Not sure if those are suppose to be similar or not. Well that's all for now. Thanks in advance.
  12. OK great, and good to know. Thanks for the clarification.
  13. So I haven't rooted my note 4 yet. Just didn't want to trip Knox quite yet. I may root it anyways in the near future. So I've been seeing updates for this phone already for NJ7 I believe. So my question would be will I lose the ability to root with this if I take the update?
  14. I just got the Note 4 thread

Didn't really wanna start a new thread so I'll ask here. Is anyone else seeing the stock keyboard being really inaccurate at times. Mostly for me it's seems kinda glitchy at times. Like I'll type a word but it only puts the last letter I swiped to. As if I lifted my finger and only hit that letter. Which I know I'm not doing that since it happens far too often. Of coarse it worked fine while typing this. I understand there's probably a little bit of a learning curve for the software but this seems to be a little much. By the way loving the new phone so far. Great upgrade from the note 2.
  15. I just got the Note 4 thread

If your phone is worth 10 dollars, you'll get that $10 from US Cellular and Samsung is going to give you 190 dollars to make it 200. If your phone is worth 26 dollars Samsung will give you 174 to make it 200. If your phone is worth 9 dollars or less you get that amount from us cellular and nothing from Samsung.
