  1. I think they are messing with our local tower. This happened a couple years ago. I called, got a official case # and after hours, if not accumulated days, of time calling and jumping thru their hoops, one day it was back to normal. I just hate to go thru all that again. I wish there was a blog or forum that the tower techs wud read. It wud really simplify the process. But oh well.... Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk

  4. Ok, I've gone through all this. Bought a new battery. But my battery life if horrible. When I 1st got mt S5 a battery wud last at least all day, some times 1.5 days. Now I have to charge it 3 times a day ?? Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk

  6. So I'm very new to this. I read the thread, but still unsure exactly what it is. Is the download a new ROM or is it similar to Wanam (a file I open somehow with xposed framework or do I install thru the recovery process?) Please excuse my ignorance. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk
  7. 10-4, Does Wannam run on the Xposed framedwork?
  8. OK guys Thru a lot a help and patience from you all I have my S5, SM G900R4 rooted and ready to go. I also have loaded Xposed installer for 6.0.1, make nanoid backup and ready to learn next level.....I think. I tried to load Gravity Box MM to get started, but it wouldn't (or I couldn't get it to) load. One question is, thru this process everything was pointing me to files to do with ARM and/or ARM32, even though my processor says its ARMv7 Also, @iRub1Out had mentioned a list or instructions somewhere of the apps I need to freeze to increase speed, battery life, etc.... using TB , I assume I look forward to your comments / instructions / tips / direction / suggestions
  9. @iRub1Out I used the updated tar file and it worked like a charm! And as a side note, after root I retained all my apps, contacts, pix, msgs, etc.... in the past when I've rooted (3 or 4 times) I've lost all my personalized data and had to restore. What a pleasant surprise !! Thanks guys for the patience!!
  10. What is OP? Sorry if thats a stupid question....
  11. when I press AP button in odin it will not see the tar file I downloaded from your link ( the 2nd link *twrp). There is a tar file that was zipped in with odin that odin does see....?
  12. no worries...the link did not work by clicking on it. But I typed into my browser and it went to the post/info. Thanks to wound tight and all you guys for your time and help... I've already updated to 6.0.1, thru Kies. Am I correct in that this is the file to give back my root privileges? If I use the latest version of Odin, should the settings and tick boxes be self setting/adjusting when it recognizes my phone and the tar file?
  13. when I click on the link, its says it doesn't exist.
  14. where to safely get this Odin 6.0 image ? I have already updated to marshmallow, will it matter?
  15. Does anyone know if I should allow this update? Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk
