  1. SIM Card corrupted!

Is there any way to edit the parameters on a SIM card? Mine got corrupted and is missing the following info; Phone number, Subscriber ID, Sm country ISO, SIM Operator, Network Country ISO, Network Operator, Network Operator Name, Network Type. I have all this information saved elseware so is it possible to just program it back in? The wierd thing is that I still get 3G, not sure about 4G (not in my area). In anything but the stock ROM the connection square in the quick settings menu just has 3G with 3 bars, I get data but no phone or MMS, and the Carrier spot says empty. I flashed my phone's modem to the one for 4.3+ to get the new networking stuff but this didn't solve the problem, I tried the card in another phone and it told me the same thing. SIM card doesn't connect regardless of kernel or ROM. I'm currently using the SCH-R970.
  2. Note 3 MMS issues

I have a Note 3 that was just recently updated to 4.4. I did a factory reset after updating. As my stock messenger I us EvolveSMS and never really had an issue with it in the past. I am not unable to send MMS messages when on WiFi. Nor do i get group txts coming in. I have not been able to test the incoming group txts when not on WiFi due to the fact i am almost always on WiFi. I have had people ask me if i got there MMS message they sent be a few days before and I had not. So i would guess that not only can i send MMS when on WiFi i cannot receive MMS on WiFi. I went to check my APN settings but under "mobile networks" i do not see "Access Point Names". Anyone have any ideas what I should check next. I am not rooted after doing a factory reset.
  3. APN

So CM 1-20 seams to have broke the APN again I have looked online and have found some settings but they do not work. I would like to know if someone has a recent apn setting for a S3 and Oklahoma if it matters.. Thank you Jeff
  4. !! ATTENTION !! DO NOT USE THIS ON SPRINT STOCK ROMS !! If the ROM you want to convert has Fx.##, or TW, or Stock anywhere in the title, you will likely lose data, or worse, and have to Odin back to stock to fix it. Nothing in this post will make those ROMs work on the SCH-R760 US Cellular GS2. These are intended for AOSP, AOKP, ParanoidAndroid, KingKang, PACman, CM10, MIUI, etc. This is an all new one stop zip to install and edit info to USCC for data and MMS, converting ROM's from Epic4G Touch for our SCH-R760. Please thank the other dev's at their respective links, they did most all of the work, I'm just a packager. Read on, check their posts and toss your thanks their way, and enjoy the simplicity of the new and improved ACPverter! This has been tested on JB 4.+ ROM's such as KingKang, CM10, PACman ROM, and because of the tweaks used, should only be used on AOSP/AOKP, Paranoid, MIUI, and CM based JB ROM's. Flashing on these, or any other ROM, is at your own risk. I am in no way responsible for bricks, hammertoe, speech impediments, or increased federal taxes. You can however blame me for global warming, I like chili and hot sauce. :: Included in this package thanks to the following :: - JRsoft & Intronauta - Universal Flasher Tool v 3.6 - http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1636036 - Sickin: Rom Porting guide- http://teamuscellula...g-for-sch-r760/ - Skitzi - who posted originally here - http://teamuscellula...-flashable-zip/ Original E4GT to USC converter - OP here Exit_Only's AIO Speed Daemon <-- OP on xda here --> Thanks to him for the tweaks and battery savings many of us benefit from! As he updates his zip, I will attempt to keep up with it and post below, and update the zip attached to the link. Inverted gapps Lost my original link for the package I used, will rectify the credits here for this once I find them, or someone contacts me. They are included here because they are freely available, conserve battery by darkening a larger screen area, but mostly because they work and are friggin' awesome IMO. (apk's included are: Calculator, Calendar 4.2, Contacts, Gmail 4.2, Mms, Phonesky, YouTube) Instructions for use-------> 1. If moving to a new ROM, Wipe data/cache (factory reset) 2. Flash your chosen Epic 4G Touch ROM 3. Flash Gapps 4. Flash ACPverter 5. Reboot system, Enjoy! .: :: Now, for the download :: :. There are four choices, the first is the converter ONLY! The rest, well, you'll see... << ACPverter v1.0 >> << ACPverter v1.0 - inverted gapps >> << ACPverter v1.0 - Exit_Only tweaks >> << ACPverter v1.0 - inverted gapps & Exit_Only tweaks>> It has been mentioned by some that the inverted apps don't play nicely with CM10.1, you may want to avoid this if that is the ROM you are converting by using the non-inverted package. For those interested in why the name change and all, this is a whole new process. Also I felt PACverter was too close to PACrom, and it is not my intent to piggyback or name drop. Hence ACPverter, which reads like so... A - AOKP and AOSP C - CM10, 10.1 P - Paranoid Android, and all of their variants. Not that anyone would care, just wanted to clear the air. Enjoy!
  5. No future updates will be made to this converter, see the new converter here. Based on the work of: - JRsoft & Intronauta - Universal Flasher Tool v 3.6 - http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1636036 - Sickin: Rom Porting guide- http://teamuscellula...g-for-sch-r760/ - Skitzi - who posted originally here - http://teamuscellula...-flashable-zip/ I take no credit for this, outside of edits listed below. If anyone feels that this is not acceptable, then contact a moderator or myself to have it removed. I have tested this myself on CM9, CM10, ParanoidAndroid 2.16, your mileage may vary. It works on all tested AOSP/AOKP based ROMs, no TouchWiz or stock Sprint specifics, sorry... Instructions for use-------> 1. Wipe (full, or at least Cache/Dalvik) 2. Flash your chosen Epic 4G Touch ROM 3. Flash Gapps (If needed for ROM, usually is...) 4. Reboot Recovery (usually necessary after /system format, ie: Calk's format all zip) 5. Flash converter zip 6. Enjoy! What I edited: - run.sh was edited to eliminate the need to include a build.prop, and instead edit the flashed Sprint ROM's build.prop. I felt this was a more logical process, so as to not copy over existing work in the ROM, nor introduce data that could cause issues. Also, it allows for the porting of not only CM9, but CM10, and possibly other ROM's. - MOD.config was only edited to change the mod.version to read USCC.Port.0.1 instead of just Port.0.1 - See Changelog post below (#3, I just wasn't quick enough...) Notice that there is no need to add, edit, delete anything from the zip to get it to work for any of the verified ROM's. If you choose to add, edit, delete, well then...you are hopefully smarter than I am and have every reason to do so. Again, I take no credit for any of the hard work put into this. Mere edits don't constitute much, but it made my life easier for flashing some of the E4GT ROM's, and through my own personal testing felt it was safe and effective enough to post so that someone else might benefit from it. All that now being said, choose the zip for your carrier. >> US Cellular << >> Cspire << updated :: 12.8.12 >> Alltel << >> nTelos << updated :: 12.12.12
  6. Hello Team UScell community I am posting this thread without knowing which section should I put it and I am desperately requesting something I am not capable of. First of all, I am not located in America and so I am using my local service provider from INDONESIA. Yes, Indonesia. So far, I am using one of the provider and everything is working just fine. Until.. I changed provider due to remote location I am moving. And this is where I want to change my APN settings in order to match my service provider. But right now I am very, very confused because in my SGS3 mobile networks setting, there is no APN settings option... I am now running on AICS v6 by jpaulwite If anyone could please help me go through this.. I really am desperate to get my mobile data working with this provider... In other case, I tried using CM10, which has a voice launcher and succesfully launched APN settings and then tried to make a APN server or profile,, and after adding all the required,, it just won't display nor added to APN settings.. I really don't know what to do and I really need fast, fast response. Hopefully anyone can help me. Thank you very much.
