  7. Guys, I think I really messed up. When Samsung did an OTA update for 5.0 Lollipop, I had issues with it. I decided to root using Odin. Different ROMs and BLs and such. Now, my Galaxy S5 has been stuck in bootloop for weeks. I cannot access Recovery mode due to the bootloop. I can still enter download mode, and when I do, this is what I see ODIN MODE PRODUCT NAME: SM-G900R4 CURRENT BINARY: Custom SYSTEM STATUS: Official REACTIVATION LOCK: OFF KNOW WARRANTY VOID: 0x1 (4) QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE (CSB) RP SWREV: S1, T2, R1, A2, P1 SECURE DOWNLOAD: ENABLE UDC START I have read hundreds of articles by now and they all tell me the same thing, use Odin to flash stock firmware back onto the device, but I get the same results. Odin successfully flashes the stock firmware, boot screen comes on and says RECOVERY BOOT in blue letters at the top left-hand side of the screen. It then continues to be stuck in the bootloop, never going past the Samsung Galaxy S5 screen. As of last night, I have tried multiple different recoveries, bootloaders, ETC. and now it will go from the Galaxy screen to the charging screen. I left it to charge all night, but the battery appears to still be dead, it didn't charge AT ALL. I am completley lost as to what I can do. Ive tried everything, Including Kies. Kies doesnt recognize the device at all. Ive redownloaded the Samsung Official drivers multiple times. Nothing I have done is working OR helping. Please help me!

  9. Hey all, I need to get my mk2 phone back to complete stock with or without root as long as I can root it again. I don't need to worry about an warranty issues if that makes a difference. I was just wondering what files I need and if I need to do anything special to the phone itself before I start the process.

  12. So, I've browsed this site a few times before whenever I ran into problems and I've always found some way to fix them, but I can't find much on this one. Problem: I tried installing a new ROM on my S4 using Clockwork, and I might've bricked my phone. Explanation of Problem: I rooted my phone using Towelroot, then I checked it with the root checker. So far, so good. I downloaded ROMManager and made a backup, and that went fine. Then I tried using it to install Mahdi ROM, and this is where I got stuck. I booted up and I got an error: Kernel Is Not Seandroid Enforcing Set Warranty Bit: Kernel Hell. So I looked around a bit and it seemed like this was because Samsung's god-awful KNOX had gotten in the way, so I should just use ODIN and flash the stock ROM on there. There comes my problem. I tried that and it works fine, ODIN recognizes my device, it's in Admin mode, everything. But then it does this. <ID:0/004> Added!!<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..<OSM> Check MD5.. It looks like I need a PIT file, but I can't seem to find one. I get the feeling that this was some sort of legacy thing that has been deprecated? Any help would be much appreciated.

  14. Hey all. Enclosed in this post is the Motorola Electrify Stock 2.3.5 SBF file. "What does this do?" I hear you ask.. Well listen up and I will tell thee. This will revert your phone back to Stock. This will RELOCK your Bootloader if you have previously unlocked it. (IE it will no longer be Unlocked) It will also remove ROOT and restore all data on all the internal partitions including preinstall, osh, system, etc. It will NOT delete your Data partition, all your apps etc will be intact, but if they needed root access they will obviously lose that.. Now there are some things you must know: 1) It doesnt delete your Data partition, as I stated above - so if you had any apps giving you issues they will still do so. If you wanted to go back to full stock, try and do a Restore Factory first before flashing it so you know you are totally back at stock with no pesky apps giving you issues. 2) You will lose programming on the phone. So even tho it will boot, no data, phone calls, sms until you do a *228 to provision the phone. DO NOT DO *228 IF YOU ARE NOT ON A USCC NETWORK (you have been officially warned) This is handy if you mess up your phone and didnt make a backup of your stock rom (Silly you) or if you need to re-lock the bootloader for a warranty issue. THIS WILL LOCK BOOTLOADER PERMANENTLY! How to Flash: You will need RDSLite 5.5 or higher (you will find them in the unlocking bootloader thread HERE in the zip file) Power off your phone. Hold Volume up and power on until you see RSD Programming mode on your phone's screen Connect phone to USB cable. Put the 1FF-sunfire-user-2.3.5-4.5.1A_SUN_USC_19.0-19-release-keys-signed-USC-US.sbf file into the filename area of RSDLite. Your phone will be shown in RSD Lite, select it and press start.. It took about 10 mins or so - so be patient. RSDLite will show success and your phone will reboot back to stock (notice no more unlock in the top left corner) That's it you are done! Now you can re-root, send to repair, whatever you want... Hope this helps for those who was afraid to flash due to no way of going back! Grab the SBF Here You will need to unrar it before using it. Uncompressed its over 2gb! compressed it down to near 1/2 gb! MD5 checksums are enclosed in the zip so you can check if they are OK too. Enjoy!
  15. I pulled this from the latest leaked FK19 Odin tar, for those that don't want to go back to stock, but just want to update their modem to the latest. Load it up in Odin under <PHONE>. There are plenty of posts on how to Odin, so I won't go into that here, and I did not need to do an EFS clear, or anything other than flash it. Did a *228 just for kicks after. Thanks to atronin for posting it, and droidroidz for rooting it so fast, and anyone else involved that I may have left out. Download modem.bin here ....>
  16. Okay, I was running CM 10 for a long time. Then today I updated to cm 10.1 nightly. Well i couldn't get service so i wiped dalvik, cache, and data and reflashed cm 10. I booted into it and got AOSP Keyboard Force closed. So i read on another forum that i had to return to stock to fix the problem. So i got the supported sgs3 odin from this site and LG1 frimware, booted into recover (Clockwork) and wiped everything. then pulled battery pluged into computer and booted into download mode. I put LG1 into the pda slot and started it but it says.. ID:0/003> Added!! <OSM> Enter CS for MD5.. <OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable.. <OSM> Please wait.. <OSM> COMBINATION_R530UVXALG1_R530UUSCALG1_830554_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5 is valid. <OSM> Checking MD5 finished Sucessfully.. <OSM> Leave CS.. <ID:0/003> Odin v.3 engine (ID:3).. <ID:0/003> File analysis.. <ID:0/003> SetupConnection.. <ID:0/003> Complete(Write) operation failed. <OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1) <ID:0/003> Removed!! So now when i turn on my phone it says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again. Please help!
  17. We enjoy Android for what it is. Open source goodness. We're coming from Verizon with a Droid Incredible 2. Had no problems with the process of rooting and installing Cyanogenmod which we loved for zero bloatware. After all we would be just fine with android stock out of the box like god intended but for whatever reason few companies get that the customer’s liberty is paramount, not their ability to strike padded deals over drinks and golf games…not that drinks or golf games are bad, mind you. Admitedly I am pretty much a n00b and no matter how much I read (2 days now on this phone) a lot of this just doesn’t make sense. I was hoping someone here sees an inherent problem or can help me figure this out with a step by step. We're trying to get this either booting in to Cyanogenmod...or back to stock with no counts so I can take it back and just buy a friggin pantech. (kidding about the pantech btw) We’ve tried just about everything to install either the Cyanogen nightlys or the new monthly. We have root. Wiped data/Factory reset + wipe cache + wiped Dalvik Cache, install from zip a compressed file from HERE via both internal memory and SD card (formatted both ways) but we get this message every time: Installing update… Assert failed getprop(“ro.product.device”) == “ d2usc” || getprop(“ ==”d2usc” E:Error in /sdcard/cm-10-20121027-NIGHTLY-d2usc.
