EnemasRfun posted a topic in General Discussion319 area code numbers (and presumably others) can now be successfully ported to Project Fi. You'll have to use a different zip code for the initial step during sign up (I used Des Moines), but I can confirm 319 numbers can now be ported (and you can use your real zip code/address later on). Question for any employees: If I have a group plan on USCC and want to port all the numbers to Fi, do I need to port the numbers of the sub-accounts before the account holder? Just want to make sure nobody loses their phone number. EDIT: You can port the account holder before or after the sub-accounts. Order doesn't matter.
I did not make this but, found this searching through Google trying to learn how to make mine. I have tried it and can confirm it working with WiFi,GPS work. Radio doesn't. I will b checking Bluetooth but I am sure that works to. Again I just found it. I didn't create it. I take no responsibility for anything breaking. So here's the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-pad-10/general/rom-cyanogenmod-12-e7lte-v410-t3056393 enjoy! Also I flashed a different gapps. Just saying. I probably didn't have to but, I did. Enjoy!
I flashed twrp and installed the cm11 port from http://teamuscellular.com/Forum/topic/6137-rom44unofficial-port-cyanogenmod-11/ and I like it, but I prefer aokp over cm, mostly because that's what I ran on my old phone (mesmerize) for so ever long. So when I saw that aokp had nightlies for the tmo version, I flashed it. It's pretty good, but I can't get any APN's to work with MMS or SMS, but I can get 4g. I went into my phone status and it had cleared my phone number and MIN, to fix it though I had to dial *228 to reactivate my phone. But alas, MMS and SMS didn't work. I want to know a simple* way to port roms. If you need to just reply with a link to a tutorial, that'd be okay. *it doesn't need to be simple, I can make some time, and I have proper knowledge of linux. TL;DR : flashed rom, stuff didn't work, want to port it myself or get a script.
allenme posted a topic in Galaxy S II ROMs/Kernels/ModsNo future updates will be made to this converter, see the new converter here. Based on the work of: - JRsoft & Intronauta - Universal Flasher Tool v 3.6 - http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1636036 - Sickin: Rom Porting guide- http://teamuscellula...g-for-sch-r760/ - Skitzi - who posted originally here - http://teamuscellula...-flashable-zip/ I take no credit for this, outside of edits listed below. If anyone feels that this is not acceptable, then contact a moderator or myself to have it removed. I have tested this myself on CM9, CM10, ParanoidAndroid 2.16, your mileage may vary. It works on all tested AOSP/AOKP based ROMs, no TouchWiz or stock Sprint specifics, sorry... Instructions for use-------> 1. Wipe (full, or at least Cache/Dalvik) 2. Flash your chosen Epic 4G Touch ROM 3. Flash Gapps (If needed for ROM, usually is...) 4. Reboot Recovery (usually necessary after /system format, ie: Calk's format all zip) 5. Flash converter zip 6. Enjoy! What I edited: - run.sh was edited to eliminate the need to include a build.prop, and instead edit the flashed Sprint ROM's build.prop. I felt this was a more logical process, so as to not copy over existing work in the ROM, nor introduce data that could cause issues. Also, it allows for the porting of not only CM9, but CM10, and possibly other ROM's. - MOD.config was only edited to change the mod.version to read USCC.Port.0.1 instead of just Port.0.1 - See Changelog post below (#3, I just wasn't quick enough...) Notice that there is no need to add, edit, delete anything from the zip to get it to work for any of the verified ROM's. If you choose to add, edit, delete, well then...you are hopefully smarter than I am and have every reason to do so. Again, I take no credit for any of the hard work put into this. Mere edits don't constitute much, but it made my life easier for flashing some of the E4GT ROM's, and through my own personal testing felt it was safe and effective enough to post so that someone else might benefit from it. All that now being said, choose the zip for your carrier. >> US Cellular << >> Cspire << updated :: 12.8.12 >> Alltel << >> nTelos << updated :: 12.12.12
