Hi all, I'm working on porting kali nethunter to the us990. I keep running into a "secure boot error, boot certification verify" no matter what. I've followed the nethunter wiki completely. I even use a cross compiled version of open_bump.py called cbump to bump the boot.img lazy flasher creates to flash. I've been asking on IRC for weeks, and have tried many different things with the same results. Is there something i'm missing in order to flash a custom kernel on to the device? I have posted the steps I went through on my blog here: http://crazesweb.blogspot.com/2016/12/porting-kali-nethunter-to-lg-g3-us990.html I have also tried using the compiled zImage-dtb, and building nethunter with just the kernel. I'm relatively new to the android scene but not new to linux and development, and feel like there is something simple that I'm overlooking. If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.
I have my lg g3 us990 and whenever i try to put it into download mode, it goes to the firmware update and stays at 0% and the 'log section' doesn't pop up anything besides USER B** The ** is two random numbers. Does anyone know why it won't go past this? I tried rooting it with Rub1's rooting method but i can't get to the 3 step because it won't go into download mode.
