Glad to see some things popping up for the N2 but I'm not sold on this one. I installed it and ran my "seat of the pants", testing on it (real world results) and then I ran the quadrant and antutu tests. I ran all the tests multiple times (5 each) and I only gain around 500 points on the results.

My conclusion is I can't accept the increased battery usage for less than 500 points and no noticeable increase in speed.

These are my results and everyone else might disagree.

Anyone else notice any better results?

I would However like to add that this is great for anyone that wants to under volt and get better battery, just not for performance IMO.

I agree with your performance results and concur with the statement on underclocking as well since that's what I use it for.

You won't notice an appreciable difference between 1.6 and 1.8 unless you are gaming on more graphic intensive games. I have noticed fewer dropped frame rates on 1.8. You also won't see a drastic drop in battery life unles you are doing nothing but gaming as your phone will never use 1.8ghz unless you are doing gaming or things that require more horsepower more often than using the device as a phone or web browsing.

I gotta say i didnt see a difference at first till i killed my battery twice and now i can honestly say this is a pretty good kernel. 8+ hours and and still at 100% (idle) isnt bad at all. I can finally retire the old mes from alarm duties  :D

27.4 gives you an app that allows you to set up the kernel without using any other 3rd party apps. Seems smoother and battery life is still pretty nice. Tryed the CWM one and  it took 5 mins to set up which scared me at first. Thought i bricked it :P

so if I don't mess with the settings is it really doing anything good or bad? (just dont want to "f" anything up lol)

You cant really mess up if you dont touch anything. I know i didnt touch the controls yet and its been smooth, and battery life seems to be alittle bit better. I would say undervolting would be safe if you do it in a safe level (-25v per cpu level was min for s2). Overclocking its what you want. Personally i still have it at 1.6ghz and i dont see any problems what so ever. GPU can be messed with in the settings but im not sure whats safe and whats not atm so I would personally keep it the same as default.

Does anybody else experience lag with the notification menu when you have around 5 notifications? I'm using the sprint aljc rom, don't think I got this before on stock everything...
