Ad blocking

Both AdAway and Adblock Plus can be found on f-droid.org.  You'd need to install the f-droid app and you can install these apps along with other FOSS apps from there.

AdAway works well (I use it myself), but you need to be rooted. I tried Adblock once, but I think you also need root for it to block on 3g/4g.

got adfree now works well, but as usual it makes some apps not work, xbmc for example is there a way around that ? should i just keep doing as i have been ?

is there a way to install a host script..example:: When installing a new ROM via aroma it gives you an option to block ads?

It's not aroma and I know this topic is a bit old but I use this flashable zip while in recovery. .. Works great.
