SEE!

Now THATS how it should go down every time!

Good work, man!  Glad it went well, we need more stories of painless success like this.

I hope it's that painless when I have to activate that device on Verizon here in the next couple weeks! I've heard they are being difficult with it as well.

but what if you don't already have a micro-SIM from Verizon? I've read somewhere that they have been difficult when trying to obtain a SIM for the new Nexuses.

Well, it sounds like Verizon is requiring a new device to be financed to get the guaranteed $300 trade in value now, so I'll be waiting until my ETF gets lower with USSC before switching.

Sorry I'm a bit late to the N6p game, but I was wondering if anyone knew if I will still have to say that it is a N5x when I go to activate the phone. Thanks so much in advance!

Yes. You will.

Uscc is still retarded.

They can get all sorts of hot and bothered if you mention that its a 6P.

I'm not sure why you wouldn't just sign up for project fi if you're gonna buy one of those phones.

I wish I could. Project Fi coverage in Maine is spotty at best.

So you can't get Sprint or T-Mobile? It uses both, plus WiFi calling.

This is the Project Fi coverage map for Maine. My location is the orange dot. Most of the state is 2G.

Neither have good coverage in my area.

Could the coverage map for Project Fi be using old maps for T-Mobile and Sprint? T-Mobile has LTE coverage verified by customer data very close to me.

T-Mo's map is a bigger lie than the Hillary Clinton email/Benghazi thing.

I'd even go as far as saying it's equally criminal how badly theyre lying about their coverage.

If I use the number I have with US Cellular for project FI, will USC suspend my service? Should I just get a new number until I decide if the switch if right for me?

Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

You can't. You can only use your current number after you port out your number. To do that you have to cancel your USCC service.

Hmm... I wonder what the crazy wait was?

Dragging heels for BS is US Cellular company policy. Plus the fact that they can't sell devices in store likely caused them to lower the issue in their priorities.

"Issue" right, lol

The issue was that they're a day late and a dollar short. If they weren't so nitpicky about their exclusive model devices then maybe people would like them more?
